Last weekend, we had so much fun baking. End result? Incredibly cute Reese cakes in a jar (even more incredibly yummy). 11 easy steps will take you to dessert heaven.
Step 1. Preheat oven to 350F
Step 2. Spray your mason jars with canola oil
Step 3. Prepare your own chocolate cupcake recipe
Step 4. Scoop 3 or 4 tablespoons of your chocolate cupcake recipe in each jar
Step 5. Add 2 delicious (generous) tablespoons of peanut butter (never enough!) over the cupcake foundation (you can make it 3, we won’t tell).
Step 6. Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of chocolate cupcake recipe over the peanut butter. Make sure you leave space (as it bakes, the mix will rise).
Step 7. Bake it! Make sure it’s not raw. Around 25 minutes is pretty good or until tops spring back when touched.
Step 8. Add 2 teaspoons of chocolate on top of the hot cake. Lick mixing bowl.
Step 9. Seal mason jar with ring and wait for them to pop.
Step 10. Wait… until it cools down a little (I know, that’s the rough part!)
Step 11. Eat it all!
Hope you love it as much as we (and the entire CIS team) did!
